The Ghosts of Tupelo Landing is the hilarious mystery sequel to Three Times Lucky. Mo lives in a small town named Tupelo Landing in North Carolina. Last summer, Mo and her friend Dale formed a detective agency called the Desperado Detective Agency. They quickly became celebrities in their community when they solved the murder of Mr. Jesse in Three Times Lucky.
Mo’s mom accidentally buys an old, haunted inn during an auction. She was surprised to find out that she overlooked that the inn comes with its very own ghost! At first no one believed that there was a real ghost in the inn. However, the Desperado Detective Agency wanted to do some investigating. They went to the inn and discovered a ghost. One day a new kid named Harm Crenshaw asks them to solve a mystery about his Grandpa. They work on solving the ghost mystery and discover a note in a cabinet. It’s a note that the ghost’s dad wrote, this is just the beginning, they discover that a lot of people in the town are haunted by different things! If you are a true mystery connoisseur, I can’t really spill anymore you’re just going to have to read it yourself (but remember to read Three Times Lucky firs!).
